The demonstration plant, a state-of-the-art explosion-proof facility of Investissement Québec, has equipment that allows the extraction of molecules of interest from any biomass, including plants. Grinding, the use of solvents, concentration, and purification are four of the steps in the extraction of bioresources that are used in advanced industrial production and bioproducts, such as those from Aplantex.

Thanks to this partnership, Aplantex, which produces certified molecules sought for their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and anti-aging properties, can refine its extraction process, a key step in producing the molecules specified in its existing collaboration agreements.
