The Aplantex story
Aplantex’s innovative green biotechnology industrial platform can locally produce essential plant-based molecules such as Apigenin, Orientin, Vitexin, and Luteolin in high demand for their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and anti-aging properties. Our platform uses a process that exploits the DNA of selected plants, our proprietary photosynthetic plant replicators, to efficiently clone biomass in a tightly controlled indoor environment. Our production process includes multiple input loop reuse, is powered by renewable energy, generates no waste, and significantly shortens existing supply chains. As a result, we can guarantee optimum quality while offering a greener alternative not only to agriculture but also to conventional chemical synthesis and contemporary fermentation-based biotechnology, which are the current sources of these sought-after molecules. Our process uses no agricultural land, is immune to seasonal cycles, and does not require the intensive use of fertilizers and pesticides, or complex industrial infrastructures with their usual GHG footprint.
