A research associate and teacher with over 20 years of experience at the Department of Biological Sciences of the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (UQAM), Zahra worked hand in hand with Mourad Sabri, our CSO, to successfully navigate the numerous proof-of-concept stages. A plant biotechnology expert, she is committed at seeing our sustainable innovation reach its full potential. She enjoys caring for the plants in her garden, cooking, and is an avid reader of scientific literature.<\/p>\n
Kateryna, helping to tackle complex challenges<\/strong><\/p>\n
Having earned her Ph.D. in virology with the Zabalotny Institute of Microbiology and Virology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kateryna went on to obtain her certification of the Women\u2019s leadership program \u2013 Executive Education \u2013 from the Yale School of Management. Her keen interest in how nature and bio systems work is a natural fit with the Aplantex mission. Her skill at tackling complex issues is a key building block for our success. She loves cooking, mostly pastries, and is keen on finding new combinations of ingredients to create new tastes and textures.<\/p>\n
